The Carole Rees Awards are given annually through the generosity of Roger Lee in memory of his wife Carole. The Awards enable young singers to study with experienced international Wagnerians in preparation for performances of Wagner with established companies. This year’s recipients are Catharine Woodward and Catherine Carby who will both appear in Tristan und Isolde with Longborough Festival Opera in 2026, conducted by Anthony Negus and directed by Carmen Jakobi.
